The sun on the horizon diminishes in sight
ablaze in its fullness of color
blending seamless into the black of night
Gone is the pull from the day:
Distraction, worries and doubt
As dusk and stillness make way.
The radiant moon rises in the east:
An Eternal illuminating eye.
Compassion’s breath released.
Watching, waiting with loving intent,
Her celestial choir of stars
Sing arias of proud content.
Like a lighthouse she beckons us
Home to the safety of Her harbor.
Anchor your ship in peacefulness.
Listen to the skies’ lullaby say:
“Rest. All is calm. All is well.
Give thanks for tomorrow’s new day.”
